Optex has long been know for their top quality PIR sensors and infrared systems. The DVR-RCTD-20U is long range wireless driveway alarm product available with add on sensors and receivers. This system also features optional repeaters and add-on accessories such as strobe lights, speakers, sirens, or the system may be integrated into products like gates, home security systems, or fire alarm systems.
The RCTD-20U Optex Wireless 20000 ships with a transmitter and a receiver. When the transmitter/sensor (battery operated) detects motion, it sends a wireless signal (up to 2000 feet) to the plug in receiver. Additional sensors may be added to the system to monitor additional areas as well as additional receivers to extend the listening area.
The receiver plugs into a standard wall outlet and will play up to 3 chime sounds with three colored LED lights to indicated a zone alarm. The receiver also features a FORM C relay that allows the system to be easily integrated with many security and other systems.
The transmitter/sensor is a PIR based sensor powered by a 9-volt battery. The sensor is mounted on a swivel so you can easily rotate it to change the detection zone pattern. In one setting you can have the transmitter emit a straight line up to 50ft across your driveway or rotate the sensor to create a 17ft arc for a wider detection zone to cover a door or hallway. The transmitter is water proof (IP54 rating) and may be mounted for indoor our outdoor operation.
For extended range, an optional repeater may be purchased to extend the transmission range.
