Entry (Entrance) Alerts and Alarm Products come in a variety of different forms; wireless door entry alarms, door entry alerts and motion sensor wireless remote chimes. Entry Alerts, or Alarm chimes are technically called Pyroelectromagnetic Infrared Sensors, or PIR. This is essentially an invisible beam the blankets a given area. Once an object breaks the "blanket" the sensor sends a wireless signal to receiver. Entrance alerts also come in the form of door and window security contacts. These typically send a signal when two contacts, one metal and the other magnetic, are separated. The wireless signal can go to a variety of different receivers like a chime, buzzer, strobe light, siren, firebell, or other security receivers. All of these together provide a door chime or remote wireless entry alert chime for your commercial business or home.
