The IR-3000 Extra Indoor Infrared Transmitter for Dakota 3000 Series Wireless Alarm Systems is the newest wireless PIR sensor from Dakota Alert. With a wireless range of up to 600 feet and full compatibility with any of the Dakota 3000 Series transmitters or receivers, the IR-3000 will allow you to monitor many locations that were much more difficult before.

The passive infrared detector is able to monitor an area between 20° and 100° wide. The swivel mount allows the IR-3000 sensor to be adjusted right or left up to 80° as well as up or down up to 50°. It as three sensitivity settings which can detect a person up to 12 feet, 25 feet, or 40 feet away. The sensor can also be set to flash an LED or just stay dark when a signal is sent. The IR-3000 is powered by one 9 volt battery with a battery life of 12 months under normal conditions. There is, however, a low battery alert to notify you when it is time to replace the battery. The IR-3000 is designed for indoor use or light duty outdoor applications such as under an eave, awning, or other protected location.
